"Spent this morning at Rose Wardrode looking for MOB & MOG dresses. Although we came away without buying anything (we may well be back!), we had the most lovely experience in the shop with the two most lovely staff. They were helpful and attentive, without being pushy. They made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend visiting them. Thank you so much ladies!"

"I made two visits to The Rose Wardrobe recently to look for a dress for my daughter’s wedding this summer. I found a lovely dress and hat at my first visit which I purchased, and left at the store until I could return with my daughter the following week (she lives in Ireland). However the outfit was not an ideal colour match for the wedding theme so unfortunately we decided not to have it and obtained a full refund. I cannot praise highly enough the very helpful and professional service provided at both visits. I had a very enjoyable experience, despite feeling quite anxious about choosing a dress for such an important occasion. I can definitely recommend this lovely shop and would be delighted to visit again if I need a special dress. Thank you so much Julie and staff."

"What a lovely shop with some superb outfits. Marie was so warm and friendly and made some lovely suggestions without being overbearing or pushy. She clearly had an eye for what would look good and ended up picking a dress for me that I absolutely love.
There was no pressure to buy which made me want to stay at the shop longer, to make sure I had taken in all that the shop had to offer. Equally when I tried on dresses which were unsuitable Marie didn't try to persuade me otherwise. Although I had only met her as I walked in the shop, it felt like I was shopping with an old friend. I highly recommend this shop."

I was not able to leave a review from
my appointment yesterday as it requires a google account which I don’t have or
want so I thought I would send one via email.
What a treasure this independent boutique is! A wonderful
array of stunning dresses with a good selection of sizes. I was shopping for
mother of the bride outfits and had to choose from 3 - not an easy decision but the lovely Emma who was looking after me helped me choose “ the one”. Dedicated one to one attention and Emma provided the shoes, hat and bag so you can really see the dress at its best.
Appointment was relaxed and 1.5 hours which was excellent. Excellent range of beautifully tailored dresses and I left either a big smile on my face 🥰 highly

Julie, may I also ensure I have the pink hat that went with
the dress? My daughter loves it and doesn’t want it to sell out! "
